FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR, ECA BUS SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO REGISTERED DAILY BUS USERS.

Sports
This ECA is designed for intermediate swimmers. This group will learn stroke correction, breathing techniques and increase stamina through sustained lap swimming. Only children who have confidence in water and are no longer considered beginner swimmers may join this ECA. Swim coach from Delta will teach the children stroke, breathing and aqua safety.

Badminton is a fun, active sport which is an easy game to practice with minimal rules. Badminton boosts your muscle strength and improves blood flow rate which is good for your heart. Apart from physical health benefits there are mental advantages of playing badminton too. Apart from all the health benefits, badminton is a fun game to learn to play!

Pickleball is a paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Played with solid-faced paddles and a perforated plastic ball, it offers a unique and accessible activity for individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Basketball club aims to allow students to learn fundamental skills of playing basketball in terms of technical and tactical skills. Other than knowledge of basketball, students will also get to know the importance of fair play, honest competition and good sportsmanship amongst team members and opponents.

Floorball is a fast-paced, indoor team sport played on a rink with a smooth surface. It's essentially an indoor hockey variant, but with lighter equipment and a focus on skill and speed over physical contact. Players use plastic sticks to maneuver a hollow plastic ball around the rink, aiming to score more goals than the opposing team.

Floor Gymnastics club is for our younger students. This club aims to boost students bodies overall fitness, improving agility, flexibility and muscle strength. Open to all ages.

Art, Culture & Music
Drama Club is designed for students interested in learning more about performance. Drama club includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, costumes/makeup design and creating props as well as acting and performance.

Contemporary dance is an interpretive dance style characterised by its fluidity, expressiveness, and blend of different dance techniques. It's known for its free movement, improvisation, and focus on emotional expression through body language. Contemporary dance incorporates elements from various dance forms, including ballet, modern dance, jazz, and lyrical, allowing for a wide range of movement and artistic interpretations

In China, red drums have always been a symbol of the power of the ruler and the destiny of the army. Drums are brought out whenever there were ceremonies or festivities. Traditional Chinese drumming shows add genuine authenticity to events all over the world.
The club is committed to promoting Chinese Drums culture within the students. Open to students of all ages.

Drawing Club is a fun and creative after-school activity where students explore different drawing styles and techniques. Each week, children experiment with pencils, markers, and other simple materials to create their own artwork. The club encourages imagination, confidence, and self-expression while helping students improve their fine-motor and observation skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. With teacher intervention, students are taught essential drawing skills through guided practice, observation, and constructive feedback.

Creative Fingers Craft Club gives our students the opportunity to develop their creativity and explore the world of craft and craftsmanship.
Students will learn the techniques and hand-making skills required to create practical and decorative objects in materials such as wood, clay, textiles, metal and stone. Students will gain an understanding of why it’s important to retain traditional craft skills, and how new technologies, techniques and materials are evolving these traditions, ensuring they remain relevant in the modern world.

A fun and creative after-school club where students learn the art of jewelry making! Participants explore different materials and techniques to design and craft their own bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and more. The club encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression while giving students the chance to create unique pieces they can wear or share. Perfect for young makers who love hands-on crafts and design.

Coding & Technology
Our Coding Club is the perfect place for primary school students to dive into the world of technology, logic, and digital art! In this club, young creators will:
Bring stories to life using Scratch Jr and Scratch, perfect for building vibrant animations.
Code their own video games with MakeCode.com, learning the fundamentals of game design.
Develop problem-solving skills while turning "bugs" into features.
Collaborate with friends on exciting weekly challenges.
Developing hand-eye coordination with Minecraft and engaging our creativity. The focus is on creating projects that run over multiple weeks.
We will be using the Minecraft education version.
We will also have challenges, for example. We are building real-life structures in the Minecraft world. Open to all ages.

Science, Languages and Learning Support
MUN helps students build essential academic and life skills, including: Public speaking and confidence, Critical thinking and analytical skills, Research and writing skills, Collaboration, negotiation, and compromise, Global awareness and cultural understanding. The club is open to students of all experience levels. No prior knowledge is required; we teach everything from the basics of diplomacy to advanced debate techniques. Students will participate in hands-on simulations, practice debates, and may have the opportunity to attend local MUN conferences where they can meet and collaborate with peers from other schools. The goal is to create a supportive, inclusive space where students can grow as thinkers and leaders while having fun exploring the world around them. For our High School Student MUM participation is looked favorably on by universities as part of a comprehensive application portfolio of ECAs.

Reading aloud improves vocabulary, comprehension, and language skills while modeling fluent, expressive reading. It supports cognitive development, builds confidence, and fosters a love of reading. This ECA uses engaging books to challenge strong readers and support those gaining confidence, helping all students improve comprehension and receive support with word pronunciation.

The Problem-Solving Club helps students develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork through fun, hands-on challenges and brain-teasing activities. Students will tackle puzzles and real-life scenarios, building confidence and practical problem-solving skills along the way.

The YCT (Youth Chinese Test) and HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) are internationally recognized Chinese proficiency examinations. This preparation programme aims to support students in getting ready for the tests through focused practice in two key areas: Listening and Reading. 1. Improving practical language ability – Students will strengthen their Chinese listening and reading skills and learn how to apply the language in real-life situations. 2. Developing examination skills – Students will become familiar with the exam format and practice useful strategies to help them perform more confidently during the test. We hope this programme will help students build both their language proficiency and confidence as they prepare for the YCT / HSK examinations.

This club is designed for Japanese children who already have a working knowledge of Japanese. It is a 3 day a week club so that Japanese mastery can be achieved.
The students work from the textbook “Let’s say and Write Japanese Words” and use the Conversational Japanese Language for Beginners. Depending on how advanced each student is Mr Keng teaches from the appropriate syllabus.
Assessments at the end of the term form part of the process of gaining an understanding of how much progress has been made over the term

Acrivities included in the Maths club include math competitions, brainteasers, group problem-solving tasks, and exploration of interesting topics beyond the classroom curriculum. The club encourages collaboration, perseverance while helping students strengthen core skills. This ECA will appeals to both students who enjoy maths and want to be challenged, as well as those who wish to build confidence and build on maths skills while improving their basic Primary (Y1-Y6) Maths skills.No refunds or make up lessons for public holidays.

Phonics ECA is for our younger learners. It is designed to enhance early reading skills. Students will strengthen their phonemic awareness and develop a strong foundation for reading. This ECA is catered towards students who need extra phonics support, or for EAL students who are new to reading and writing in English. We will start with the core sounds, moving on through the phases of Jolly Phonics.
