The Examination Board

The Examination Board of Knightsbridge House International School (KBH) shall have the responsibility to develop examination and assessment procedures for KBH, including but not limited to —

(a) the security of examination scripts and answer scripts;

(b) the conduct of examinations and assessments;

(c) the duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;

(d) the moderation of examination and assessment marks; and

(e) the handling of appeals from students with regard to examination or assessment matters.


Mr. Gay Choon Lin

(Head of the Examination Board)

Mr. Gay Choon Lin currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Knightsbridge House International School. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and further completed a Flexi-Master in Forensic Accounting and Predictive Modelling with his alma mater.

His education leadership journey began at the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), where he was appointed Vice-Principal (Administration) at River Valley High School. He later served at MOE Headquarters, providing finance leadership and support to more than 330 schools across Singapore.

Prior to joining Knightsbridge, Mr. Gay was the Chief Operating Officer of ESSEC Business School’s Singapore campus, where he oversaw operations, finance, and institutional development.

Mr. Gay spent 20 years in leadership and strategic roles in the private sector, with notable appointments at Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, and DHL.

Dr. John Edward Fearon

Dr. John Edward Fearon has wide education management experience in the United States, Singapore and Malaysia. Dr Fearon has a BSc (Physics) and an MSc and a PhD in Tertiary Physics Education. He is also a registered Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr. Tech. Eng.).

In his academic career he has experience as a high school science teacher, a technical college lecturer, a university physics education researcher, and an international schools administrator. Most recently he has been as an administrator of international schools in Singapore and Malaysia most notably Invictus International School (Singapore) and Repton International School (Malaysia).

Ms. Jennifer Margaret Mills

Ms. Jennifer Mills holds the following academic qualifications:

Graduate Certificate of Educational Leadership, Edith Cowan University. Master of Education, Sydney University.Graduate Diploma of Arts, Sydney College. Diploma of Teaching, Milperra College.

Ms. Jennifer Mills has 30+ years of experience in Education predominately in international settings. She has wide-ranging teaching and management experiences in diverse cultures including Sydney, London, Beijing, Dublin, Manus Island (PNG), Greece, Seoul, Myanmar, and Qatar.

Prior to joining KBH, Jennifer served as Principal at Invictus International School, Dempsey, Singapore, and before that, she was the Primary Head at Myanmar International School of Yangon, Myanmar.

Mr. Karl Bresler

Mr. Karl Bresler was Headteacher of Singapore International School Medan from 2022 to 2025, guiding the school through an exciting period of growth and change.

With over 24 years of experience in both international and independent schools, Karl brings a clear vision, academic strength, and a genuine passion for student-focused learning. Before joining SIS Medan,

Karl held senior leadership positions at top schools in South Africa, including Deputy Principal at Clifton School and a management role at the South African College School (SACS). His experience covers a wide range of areas, from curriculum innovation and student wellbeing to co-curricular development and the integration of educational technology. A strong advocate for Active Learning, Karl believes in using data-informed strategies to strengthen student achievement and create meaningful learning experiences.
