MUN helps students build essential academic and life skills, including: Public speaking and confidence, Critical thinking and analytical skills, Research and writing skills, Collaboration, negotiation, and compromise, Global awareness and cultural understanding. The club is open to students of all experience levels. No prior knowledge is required; we teach everything from the basics of diplomacy to advanced debate techniques. Students will participate in hands-on simulations, practice debates, and may have the opportunity to attend local MUN conferences where they can meet and collaborate with peers from other schools. The goal is to create a supportive, inclusive space where students can grow as thinkers and leaders while having fun exploring the world around them. For our High School Student MUM participation is looked favorably on by universities as part of a comprehensive application portfolio of ECAs.
