Assessment and Reporting

How are students assessed at Knightsbridge House International School?
Students are assessed through a mix of internal assessments and externally marked Cambridge checks where applicable (e.g., Cambridge Checkpoint assessments at the end of Year 6). Teachers use a range of formative and summative tasks throughout the year to monitor understanding and growth, ensuring feedback supports each learner’s progress.

The school also has an Examination Board responsible for developing and overseeing secure, fair assessment practices across all year levels.

When and how do students receive their school reports?
Students receive two formal written reports each academic year. These include:

  • Semester 1 Report: December

  • Semester 2 Report: June

Each report provides a summary of the student’s academic performance, strengths, areas for development, and overall progress across subjects. These reports are an important channel for teachers to communicate learning outcomes and next steps to both students and parents.

Q: How are parents informed about student progress?
A: We use platforms like ClassDojo, email or parent-teacher meetings.
